Apples... late in the season

Well we are covered in snow in my neck of the woods.  My daughter came home from school put on her snowsuit and reveled in the powdery white snow of early winter.  Cold,  I came across these pics from back in October and the beautiful fall colors called out to me.  It was the first time either of us had actually picked apples.  Thanks to scrapmatters.com for the template freebie from Oct. 27 and to Raspberry Road Designs for Apple Cider and Apple Festival papers and embellishments.  Here is my page.

...and here is my sweet girl enjoying the snow :)

Have a great day.

09 collage: a wonderful year in review

Many thanks to scrappingwithliz.com for her wonderful collage templates and to Kimberly Cameron for the paper from her Prehistoricstories kit.  Life is incredibly busy these days, but I cannot seem to resist the desire to pursue this new interest.  I think I am converted to digital.  I have created paper collages in a variety of formats for 04-08, but this is my new favorite.  I cannot wait to print it.

I'm really making a blog post!

I am new to this blogging stuff, but have enjoyed reading those of many others.  Here goes nothing.  My intent is to record some of my daily life, my pics and my scrapping successes - hopefully.  Perhaps someday, I will have something to offer to those who have so richly inspired me over the last few months.

Here are a few of my initial digiscrap pages for the fall.  What a beautiful time of year to take pictures.  Many thanks to the contributors of the October blogtrain - Thankful for their wonderful creations.

First, here is my sweet girl feeding the ducks.  Too cute n'est-ce pas???

Having fun with Daddy - how cute!

The whole family enjoying a beautiful fall day

Have a great day.
